Job Summary:
A Radiation Therapist position in Edmonds, Washington, is available for experienced professionals. This role involves delivering radiation treatments and providing patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position ensures the safe and effective use of radiation therapy equipment and techniques to meet clinical protocols.

Job Details:

  • Location: Edmonds, WA
  • Schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s shifts, Monday through Friday, no weekends
  • Shift Hours: 0700-1500 or 1400-2200 for 8-hour shifts; 0700-1700 for 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Therapeutic Radiation Therapist (T), with a valid license. A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy is required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves administering adult acute care, billing for treatment types and devices, patient restraint care, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, chart checks, CT simulation, external beam therapy, IMRT, and other specialized procedures. Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system is necessary.
  • Certifications: BLS, ARRT T
  • Skills: Adult acute care, radiation safety, patient/family teaching, respiratory gating, treatment site simulation, starting and maintaining IVs, and handling specialized equipment such as Elekta Versa HD.
  • Travel Experience: Not required but preferred.
  • References: Two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required during the compliance process and prior to start.
