Job Summary:
Hilo, Hawaii The Imaging Specialist IV Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist position involves performing clinical diagnostic MRI exams independently. Candidates must hold ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification and bring their licenses on the first day. This position requires a minimum of two years of independent MRI experience and the ability to work scheduled four ten-hour days on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with at least one on-call shift per week.

Job Details:

• Certifications: ARRT (MR) or AMRIT, BLS (required within six months of employment).
• Education: Successful completion of an accredited MRI program with a certificate or associate degree, or equivalent, or ARRT advanced registry in MRI.
• Experience: Two (2) years of independent MRI technologist experience performing clinical diagnostic procedures, demonstrating proficiency with standard or modified imaging techniques.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification; Hawaii radiologic imaging modality license (highly preferred); active BLS certification within six months of start date.
• Schedule: Four ten-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; shifts may vary based on staffing needs; work may include weekends and holidays; may require standby and callback duty.
• Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment; position has normal urgency; work schedules may rotate.
