Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available in Rolla, Missouri. Candidates are responsible for implementing components of patient care, assisting physical therapists, and collaborating closely with them to modify treatment plans as necessary. The role involves working with patients of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life care, and includes tasks such as guiding exercises, maintaining a clean and organized therapy area, and assisting with administrative duties. Candidates are required to bring their PTA license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Rolla, Missouri
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Required Qualifications: One (1) year of physical therapy experience, licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and LTC or rehab experience
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to assist patients with stretching, exercises, and balance training, as well as help move patients from wheelchairs or walkers. Responsibilities include following instructions from the physical therapist, maintaining organization, and completing administrative tasks such as scheduling and filing paperwork. Submission must be at the posted rate; if a higher rate is requested, the candidate will be redirected.
