Job Summary:
Portland, Maine Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services in a facility that offers 70 licensed beds. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position supports patient care in a hospital environment with leadership responsibilities.

Location: Portland, ME

Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Maine State Licensure; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; 2 years of experience preferred; location requirement: Maine; minimum experience: 0 years.
Schedule: Day shifts; weekend rotation, call responsibility, holiday shifts discussed during interview; other scheduling details to be discussed during interview.
Support on the Unit/Within Hospital: Respiratory Department leadership; hospitalist available 24/7; intensivist available 24/7 for consults.
Technology/Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner; Pyxis medication dispensing system; floating between NICU, Pediatric, and Adult units may be required and discussed during interview.
Orientation Period: Dependent on skillset and experience.
Additional Information: Support during interview discussed, scrubs can be any color, parking available free of charge.
