Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Saint Charles, Missouri. The role involves assisting patients with stretching and exercises, collaborating closely with the Physical Therapist to modify care plans, and engaging with patients' families to implement effective at-home techniques. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of shift.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Charles, Missouri
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active PTA license (Ohio or compact license), BLS certification, CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), at least 1 year of PTA experience, LTC or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience, 0-1 references at the time of submission, resume, skills checklist within 1 year
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with helping patients stretch and exercise, administrative skills such as scheduling and paperwork management, ability to teach balance training techniques, taking instructions from Physical Therapists, communicating with families
• Additional Information: Must submit at or below the posted bill rate of $56. Submission of higher rates will require redirection. The role entails assisting with patient transfers from wheelchairs or walkers, keeping therapy areas organized, and supporting patient treatment and administrative tasks.
