Description

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist with Ultrasonographer (Echocardiography) specialty will be based in Missoula, Montana. This position involves performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including resting, exercise stress, dobutamine stress, and transesophageal procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires flexibility to float between units and the ability to work a 10-hour shift, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: Missoula, MT
  • Shift Hours: 10 hours per day
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Certifications: BLS, RDCS or RCS, ARDMS or CCI Registry
  • Licenses: Valid Montana or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand; Valid Allied license in hand (please ask the account manager if unsure)
  • Experience: 0 years minimum experience, with preferred experience in adult acute care, outpatient, pediatric care, emergency department, imaging with contrast agents, M-Mode, pharmacologic stress echo, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), treadmill stress echo, neonate; 2 years of experience preferred
  • Procedures and Skills: 3-D Echocardiography, adult and pediatric acute care, bubble study, emergency department procedures, contrast imaging, M-Mode imaging, pharmacologic stress testing, Philips equipment, TEE, treadmill stress echo, neonate care, McKesson systems, thoracentesis preferred
  • Patient Caseload: Approximately 6-8 patients per day, depending on shift
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performing resting echocardiograms, exercise stress and dobutamine echocardiograms, TEE procedures, and assisting with cath lab procedures as needed
  • Experience Required: No minimum years of experience explicitly specified, but a minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to float within the facility and must meet travel compliance documentation deadlines.
