Job Summary:
A Medical Technologist specializing in laboratory services is sought for a role in Salem, Massachusetts. This position involves working as a generalist laboratory technologist across various areas of the lab. Candidates are required to bring their Medical Technologist certification on the first day. This role offers night shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with weekend and holiday rotations.
Job Details:
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Night shifts, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Greater than or equal to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Medical Technologist (such as ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW); minimum zero years of experience specified; suitable for qualified laboratory professionals with experience in CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) high complexity testing, LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) experience, and good communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of laboratory experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Generalist laboratory technologist working in all areas of the laboratory; proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system; responsibilities include performing high complexity testing in a CLIA laboratory setting and utilizing LIS systems.
