Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) in Oregon. This position involves providing orthopedic therapy services with a focus on upper extremity treatment, including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures. The role primarily supports orthopedic patients and requires experience in outpatient therapy, covering acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, specifically in orthopedic outpatient services; experience in upper extremity therapy including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Lymphedema training is a plus.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must have OP Orthopedic experience, specifically upper extremity therapy such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, or fractures. Experience covering outpatient orthopedic cases, including hands, elbows, and shoulders, is essential. A department-specific orientation will be provided. Must treat an average of 12 patients per day, with documentation required in Meditech. Oregon licensure is mandatory for practicing.
