Job Summary:
A Home Health Therapist position is available in Red Bluff, California. This role involves providing therapy services in a home health setting, primarily for orthopedic/joint replacement and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities such as congestive heart failure (CHF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The position offers weekdays daytime hours and may include some travel within the service area.

Job Details:

• Location: Red Bluff, California
• Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); 0 years of minimum experience; California state license to submit; Home Health experience preferred but flexible with less than 2 years of experience if relevant
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with orthopedic and geriatric patient populations in a home health setting; proficiency with HCHB - HomeCare HomeBase electronic medical record system
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • The service area covers most of Tehama County, with some locations outside office range.
  • Therapists are provided a tablet for electronic documentation.
  • Mileage per day is approximately 40 miles, which may decrease with additional staff and redistributing patient load.
  • Staff may be scheduled for up to 3 shift cancellations per assignment.
  • No call, no weekend requirements, and holidays off.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • No trauma level designation or specific charting system expectations beyond Cerner are specified.
