Job Summary:
A Radiology Technician specializing in Nuclear Medicine (NUC) is sought for a position in Bakersfield, California. This role involves providing nuclear medicine imaging services within an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Bakersfield, California

- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license; at least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging; experience with Radnet and Merge Unity EMR systems; able to cover department needs and float to other nearby facilities if necessary
- Department Specific Equipment: GE, Phillips, Siemens radiology equipment; Radnet and Merge Unity EMR systems
- Department Notes: Unit has 1 scanner/room; no RRA's used; radiologist in-house; no IV starts required; supervisor or lead tech available
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: On-call rotating with other staff; cancellation policies may apply
