Description

Job Summary:
The location is Bakersfield, California. This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist working in a highly specialized environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves supporting a STEMI receiving facility with diverse cardiovascular and neuro intervention procedures.

Job Details:

Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, every other week, with call rotation required once weekly and one weekend per month. The weekend call runs from Friday evening through Monday morning, and scheduling may vary based on the units needs.
Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support), and Fluoroscopy. A minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, current cath lab experience, and comfort with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps. Must hold a valid license to submit.

Additional Information: The facility has 5 suites: two for coronary cases, one for peripheral cases, one for vascular and neuro cases, and one for electrophysiology procedures. The average number of cases per day ranges from 10 to 22.
