Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist located in Bakersfield, California. The role involves supporting a STEMI receiving facility with various cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position is scheduled for days and offers the flexibility to work 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of a block schedule on weekends.

Job Details:

• Location: Bakersfield, CA
• Schedule: Days, 10s or 12s shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, willing to go block schedule on weekends
• Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, Fluoroscopy certification, minimum of 2 years current cath lab experience, able to perform procedures with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), and balloon pump management.
• Additional Information: Experience in a STEMI receiving facility is preferred. The roles involve working in five suites dedicated to coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology cases. The candidate must be comfortable with procedural processes and collaborative team environment. Willingness to rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases once a week and potentially work one weekend per month. The facility utilizes Cerner electronic medical record system. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or pay full hours in lieu of cancellation.
