Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist position is based in Bakersfield, California. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment performing specialized cardiac, vascular, peripheral, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures. The technologist will support a team in a STEMI receiving facility, handling a variety of cases with a focus on procedural expertise and patient safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, Fluoroscopy certification, minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conscious and moderate sedation, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), balloon pumps, and procedural processes
- Additional Information:
- Willingness to work 10- or 12-hour shifts and participate in a block scheduling on weekends (Friday-Sunday).
- Rotating call for inpatient and emergent cases once per week, with additional weekend call requirements.
- Hospital can cancel up to four shifts in a 13-week assignment; full shift hours may be paid in lieu of cancellations.
- Charting system: Cerner.
