Description
Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves assisting physicians with specialized radiologic procedures, including arteriograms, in a dedicated electrophysiology department. The role requires preparing examination areas, positioning patients, operating complex radiology equipment, and providing patient care appropriate to various age groups. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

- Shift: 10-hour days with rotating call, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, Illinois license or confirmation of application initiation, active IL license required, minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, valid Florida credentials, and the ability to produce a negative drug screen as this is a drug-free campus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system, experience in acute care settings, and familiarity with electrophysiology procedures.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The department operates Monday through Friday with weekend call rotation on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. The department has 11 employees including 4 electrophysiologists, and performs approximately 5-10 procedures daily across two procedure rooms. The team includes 5 technologists and 6 RNs.
