Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) PEDS position available in West Valley City, Utah. The role involves providing respiratory care in an acute setting, performing diagnostics, and patient assessments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: West Valley City, Utah

• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; certifications in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS; prior EMR experience preferred
• Schedule: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; every other week
• Additional Information: The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, care plans, diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac procedures, bronchoscopy, pulse oximetry, and patient transportation within the hospital or between facilities.
• The position may require work during standard hours as well as flexible and overtime hours, with on-call coverage outside of scheduled hours.
• This position may have an on-call requirement outside of standard shift hours.
