Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a General Radiology Magnet (MR) Technologist for a position located in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves working in the Radiology Department, primarily performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care while operating advanced imaging equipment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in magnetic resonance (MR) registry; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Virginia license in hand at submission; experience with GE magnetic resonance imaging equipment; no minimum experience required, but 0.0 years listed
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience performing cardiac scans
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a busy radiology department with team of five staff members. Procedures typically include brain, spine, orthopedic body, abdominal, and cardiac imaging. The candidate must adhere to hospital dress code (scrubs in navy) and participate in weekend call rotation (typically one weekend per month) and weekday on-call from 11 PM to 6 AM.
