Description
Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position is available in Richmond, Virginia, within the Radiology Department. This role involves operating GE equipment to perform MRI scans, with an emphasis on cardiac, brain, spine, orthopedics, abdominal, and cardiac procedures. Candidates are required to bring their Virginia license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Richmond, Virginia
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts with call rotation, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Virginia license in hand at submission; MR Registered (Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification); BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; experience on GE equipment; no minimum years of experience specified
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac scans; familiarity with Meditech/Centricity electronic medical records system
- Additional Information: The unit has a staff of five technologists, and the position involves working a weekend call rotation, typically one weekend per month, and two weeknights of call each week from 11 PM to 6 AM. The dress code is scrub attire in navy.
