Description
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist X-ray position is based in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves performing a wide variety of radiographic imaging procedures on patients of all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, using various imaging equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers day and evening shifts of 10 hours, with specific schedules beginning on 07/20/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, WI
- Shift: Day/Evening, 10-hour shifts; Wk 1: Wed - Sat, 1200-2200; Wk 2: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thur, 1200-2200. Must be available for standby call as needed.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association, and a valid State of Wisconsin Radiographer license. Education requirement: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiography, including trauma Level II experience. Experience with trauma cases and prior charge responsibilities preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I and II trauma experience.
- Experience: At least 2 years in diagnostic radiology, trauma, and charge role.
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS, and State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer.
- EMR System: Epic Charting System.
- Special Procedures/Skills: Ability to perform a broad range of imaging exams (e.g., Abdomen decubitus, Chest AP, Pelvis, Skull, Trauma cases, etc.), troubleshoot equipment, participate in QA, and handle contrast media.
- Additional Information: Candidates must pass Pass/Fail testing with strict criteria, including a telemetry exam prior to start. Flu vaccination is required; medical or religious exemptions accepted.
