Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (Travel Sonographer) position available in a Perinatal Center located in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and involves working in a busy hospital environment focused on obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound procedures. The position is scheduled for a daytime shift.
Job Details:
- Location: Richmond, Virginia
- Shift: Days, 8:30AM 4:30PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in OB/GYN, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echo, NTQR Certification. Candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Unit Information:
- Perinatal Center with 3 hospital centers and 30 staff members including 10 sonographers.
- Patient ratios are approximately 10-12 patients per tech per day.
- Equipment includes E8 and E10 models.
- EMR system used is Viewpoint.
- Typical procedures performed include first trimester BPP, Dopplers, Fetal Anatomy, OB complete exams, and NTs.
- Additional Information:
- Number of positions available is 2.
- The unit values flexible, customer-focused team players who can adapt to a busy environment and work well within a team.
- Dress code for staff is navy blue scrubs.
