Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a certified Ultrasonographer (General) for a radiology unit located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The position involves conducting ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including general, vascular, and obstetric-gynecologic sonography. Candidates are required to bring their licensure and certifications on the first day. The role requires flexibility for extra shifts within the department.
Job Details:
- Position: Ultrasound (General)
- Location: Manchester, NH
- Schedule: Shifts available include Day Shift, Second Shift, and Night Shift each with a total of 10 hours. The minimum hours per week are 40.
- Required Qualifications: NH MIRT licensure; BLS certification; RDMS certification; at least one year of ultrasound experience, including exposure to various ultrasound types; clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting, with some exposure to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in OB-GYN, AB; ultrasound experience in the operating room and ultrasound procedures.
- Additional Information: Opportunities for extra shifts within the department. If breast ultrasound is desired, additional opportunities may be available. Attendance and PTO policies must be followed. All exam protocols need to be adhered to. Weekends are covered by weekend position staff. No call; a call tree is implemented for critical staffing needs for permanent full-time staff.
