Description
Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position available in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role involves performing ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily in vascular imaging, within a hospital or acute care setting. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced ultrasound equipment and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire medical imaging license (must have certification in hand prior to submission), BLS certification, RDMS certification, minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience, and experience with vascular, OB-GYN, and general sonography.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as RVT or OB-GYN, experience in the operating room, and more than 1 year of ultrasound experience beyond education.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have knowledge of anatomy and pathology, good clinical judgment, and strong communication skills. The role involves exposure to Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 ultrasound systems. The ultrasound procedures performed include Thoras, paras, FNAs, drainages, and various biopsies. Opportunities for extra shifts within the department may be available.
