Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Atlantis, Florida. The position involves providing specialized therapy services within a newly established 42-bed inpatient rehab unit. Candidates are required to bring their Florida licensure on the first day. This role is suitable for professionals with a minimum of six months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehab settings.
Job Details:
- Location: Atlantis, Florida
- Specialization: Inpatient Occupational Therapy (OT IP)
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, with minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Florida state license; good critical thinking skills; problem solving; efficient time management; ability to incorporate weekends into a 5-day/week shift; minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility, or inpatient rehab unit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system; experience working in a brand new inpatient rehab unit with new equipment.
- Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and is part of a state-of-the-art facility.
