Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist SNF position available in Mound City, Missouri. This role involves evaluating and providing skilled rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) physical functioning disorders in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. Candidates are required to bring their Occupational Therapy (OT) license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Mound City, Missouri
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid OT license, 1 year of occupational therapy experience with LTC or rehab experience, location in Missouri
• Additional Information: The Occupational Therapist will effectively screen and evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices. Responsibilities include assessing patient progress, adjusting treatments, evaluating outcomes, and providing consultation to patients, families, and caregivers. Documentation must be completed accurately in the electronic system, with participation in team meetings and trainings. Supervision of therapist assistants, aides, or students may be required. The therapist must adhere to professional practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics.
