Description
Job Summary:
The position of Ultrasonographer Echo (Echo Tech) is based in Beckley, West Virginia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing pediatric echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), carotid ultrasounds, and working independently. The schedule is dayshift with on-call duties. The open position is a replacement for a permanent staff member.

- Required Qualifications: Certification or licensure to work as an Echo Tech in West Virginia, RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer) certifications, BLS (Basic Life Support), 1+ years of experience performing pediatric echos, TEE, and carotids, ability to work independently, and must be able to perform pediatric Echos, TEE, and carotids.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working alone, familiarity with Epic EMR system (Meditech, Fuji PACS, Synapse).
- Additional Information: All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered.
