Description
Job Summary:
The Portland, Oregon-based Xray Technologist position involves performing specialized imaging procedures, with a focus on bone density exams. This role requires proficiency in DEXA (Bone Density) procedures and is suitable for candidates with current and proficient bone density experience. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day. The position entails working day shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

- Shift: 10-hour days, minimum 40 hours per week

- Location: Portland, OR
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) license, ARRT - Bone Densitometry certification, BLS certification, 1 year of imaging experience, must have DEXA (Bone Density) experience, valid driver's license, and experience with Epic EMR system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult outpatient imaging, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, management/lead experience, and radiation safety.
- Additional Information: Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Travel within a 50-mile radius is required. Candidates must have a vehicle. All scheduling requests, including all RTO/holidays, must be requested upfront during submittal. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless scheduled for an interview.
