Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technician) position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in a busy, high-acuity environment within a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour night shifts, dependent upon posting and staffing needs, with flexibility of 1-1.5 hours between start times.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Wisconsin License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, two years of acute or surgical imaging experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Surgical/Procedural imaging, Fluoroscopy including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases, and operating room procedures involving orthopedics, general surgery, and spine procedures.
- Support within the Department: Lead technologist on first shift, Radiologist on site 24/7, 14 technologists on day shift, 7 on second shift, 3 on third shift, and additional medical staff including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7.
- Technology/Equipment: GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray machines, McKesson PACS, GE 9900 and Elites C-arms, Medtronic O-arms.
- Orientation: Seven days in department.
- Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation; one on-call shift per week (first call 0630-1400, second 1400-2230, third 2230-0630).
- Other Notes: Surgery scrubs provided in-house; free parking; fast-paced unit with high patient acuity; one holiday per contract.
