Job Summary:
A Mammographer is sought in North Bergen, New Jersey. This position involves performing Mammography examinations following American College of Radiology (ACR) requirements. The role includes assisting with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic guided procedures within the Breast Center. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: North Bergen, NJ
• Schedule: Day shift; training will be from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with regular shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology; minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist; active Diagnostic Radiography License; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification; mammography-specific certification; breast imaging competencies; ability to obtain mammography certification within the first three months of employment

• Additional Information: The role requires proficiency in screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast positioning, breast compression techniques, patient education, breast imaging protocols, advanced breast imaging, breast ultrasound assistance, stereotactic breast biopsy, tomosynthesis (3D mammography), needle localization, breast MRI coordination, and optional Dexa scanning. The candidate should demonstrate competency in screening breasts and soft skills necessary for patient interaction.
