Description
Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position is available in New York City, NY. This role involves operating and preparing specialized imaging equipment to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The successful candidate will apply their technical expertise to obtain high-quality images according to established protocols and patient needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm, with 37.5 hours per week and evening shifts
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology; valid New York State License (L.R.T.); A.R.R.T. MRI registry certification; BCLS Certified; 0 years of minimum experience in MRI required
- Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years' experience in MRI; prior experience with IDX (Radiology Information System) preferred
- Additional Information: The role includes performing MRI imaging procedures, patient positioning, safety compliance, maintaining clinical and safety standards, and supporting clinical team activities. Responsibilities include evaluating image quality, maintaining equipment and supplies, documenting patient data, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
