Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) position is located in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves planning, organizing, developing, administering, and supervising occupational therapy treatments in an inpatient setting. The occupational therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Must hold a valid, current State license; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves assessing patients' levels of functioning, planning and implementing appropriate treatments based on physician orders, participating in discharge planning, supervising therapy staff and students, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with other team members. The occupational therapist must demonstrate good safety techniques, maintain patient confidentiality, and promote continuous quality improvement. Flexibility in scheduling and active participation in team conferences are essential.
