Description
Job Summary:
The general ultrasonographer (OBGYN) position is based in Brunswick, Georgia. This role involves performing high-volume obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound scans in a busy office setting. The candidate will be responsible for conducting various scans, including confirmation, viability, nuchal translucency, anatomy, growth assessments, biophysical profiles, umbilical artery dopplers, gynecologic, and follicle scans. Familiarity with the GE VOLUSON sonogram machine and the ability to interpret findings and communicate verbally with clinical staff are essential for this role.
Job Details:
- Location: Brunswick, Georgia
- Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Saturday from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM; total hours per week: 40-41
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, relevant education background, or equivalent experience in ultrasonography; familiarity with GE VOLUSON sonogram machine; comfortable providing verbal preliminary findings; at least 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing obstetric ultrasounds, particularly high-volume offices; strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions.
- Additional Information: Position involves performing an estimated 12 or more exams per day depending on provider scheduling. All exams are conducted in-office and interpreted by obstetrician-gynecologist providers. Candidate must be comfortable discussing significant or concerning findings verbally with clinical staff.
