Description

Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position located in Twin Falls, Idaho, involves providing therapeutic care to a diverse patient population within a home health setting. The role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration and requires delivering in-home therapy services, including admissions, recertifications, and ongoing patient care for approximately 4-6 patients per day. This position offers a flexible start from home and is suited for licensed professionals with relevant outpatient or inpatient experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); Education: Must have at least 1 year of post-graduate physical therapist experience; Location Requirements: Idaho license or eligibility; Experience: 1 year post-graduate experience; Must have home health experience, prefer post-graduate home health familiarity; Must have orthopedic experience.

  • Float: Not applicable.
  • Additional Information:
    • Involves in-home therapy, admissions, recertifications, and limited oxygen requirements.
    • Patients are primarily adults with a focus on Medicare, elderly, rehab, CVA, and surgical referrals.
    • Limited travel, with no mileage reimbursement, within a 50-mile radius east and west of the assignment location.
    • Coverage area extends approximately 60 miles north (up to Sun Valley) and 40 miles south (to the Idaho/Nevada border).
    • EMR utilized is Epic, with remote client offshoots; interdisciplinary meetings are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
    • Dress code is business casual or any color scrubs.
