Job Summary:
The facility is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) specialized in inpatient care to support an 18-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in a Missouri healthcare setting. This position involves providing direct patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts, and the successful candidate will contribute to patient recovery and functional improvement.
Job Details:
- Location: 5325 Faraon Street, Entrance 1, St. Joseph, Missouri, 64506
- Position: Occupational Therapist (Inpatient) on the Acute Rehabilitation Unit
- Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state, at least 1 year of experience as an OT, familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitative setting is advantageous.
- Additional Information: This is a 13-week temporary assignment with a start date of August 3, 2026. The assignment involves hospital shared staffing, with potential to float to other units as needed. Scrub dress code is solid colors matching top and bottom or solid top with black bottoms. Employee parking is available in garage or front lots behind the blue line. No prior employment with the organization is required, and this role is a replacement for permanent staff.
