Description
Job Summary:
Portland, Oregon The position is for a Vascular Sonographer working in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves performing vascular ultrasound procedures, with the ability to float between units as needed. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in vascular ultrasound and hold the necessary state licensure, providing critical diagnostic support within a busy hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure (OBMI), at least 1 year recent experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures, certifications in ARDMS RVT, CCI RVS, and RDCS - RVT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult, arterial, carotid, dialysis grafts, doppler studies, duplex imaging, ICU, NICU, outpatient procedures, and using Phillips EPIQ ultrasound machines.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units and nearby hospital affiliates.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to commit to working 3 out of the 5 designated holidays. RTO requests should be made during submission; requests exceeding 6 days may delay the process. Candidates should have a vehicle for the assignment. The role involves working with interpretation services, rapid response teams, and portable ultrasound equipment.
