Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Assistant, Outpatient, Peachtree City, Georgia. This position involves providing support to licensed Physical Therapists in delivering outpatient rehabilitative care. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic interventions, and ensuring patient safety and comfort while promoting recovery and functional improvements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school; CAPTE certification; active license applicable to the state of Georgia; CPR certification; 0+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in outpatient settings; previous assignment with the organization or agency is highly desired.
• Additional Information: Implements treatment goals, assists with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening, balance exercises, and functional skills training. Trains patients in the use of assistive devices and demonstrates modalities including whirlpools, ultrasound, and therapeutic pools. Monitors patient response, documents progress, and educates patients and families on care techniques. Maintains a clean, safe treatment environment and adheres to all safety and infection control policies.
