Description
Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Tennessee. This position involves working in the cardiovascular laboratory with a flexible shift schedule, primarily during daytime hours. The role requires prior travel experience, a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, and certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARMDS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through CCI, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The selected candidate will participate in call duties, including weekends and holidays, and must be adaptable to meet the units scheduling needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as RVT through ARMDS or RVS through CCI, current BLS certification, accredited sonography degree, minimum 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, and ability to start on 08/10/2026.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 07/27, 08/03, 08/10, 08/17, and 08/24. The role involves working with a DVT Lovenox protocol from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and call responsibilities for emergency arterial and upper venous arterial cases, pending vascular surgeon approval. Scrubs: Red top with black bottoms. The primary EMR system utilized is Cerner/Merge.
