Description

Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position available in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves performing routine X-ray procedures and portable imaging in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in operating rooms and skilled in handling high-acuity adult patients across various units including medical-surgical, intensive care, and emergency care. This position offers a dynamic environment with variable shifts during the day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Variable days with start times between 0500 and 1430, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: High School Diploma; ARRT certification; Wisconsin license; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience, including operating room experience; prior travel experience required; trauma level II experience and recent experience in a 300+ bed facility within the last 2 years; charting experience preferred (EPIC Radiant, not required).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult patients in medical-surgical units, cardiac units, emergency care, and portable imaging skills.
  • Additional Information: Must be comfortable working with high-acuity adult patients, skilled with portable work and in various hospital units. May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed. Contract includes 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; travelers may be on call during those hours with call back pay. Scrub color can be any. During flu season, travelers declining vaccination must wear a mask at all times in accordance with Aspirus policy. No guaranteed GSA hours during orientation week, but set hours are guaranteed during the contract, except during holidays when the unit may be closed.
