Description
Job Summary:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Oklahoma City, OK. This position involves evaluating and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The role requires developing individualized care plans following all regulatory and clinical standards, utilizing standardized assessments, and supporting clinical interventions. The SLP will collaborate with the healthcare team, support supervision of student or licensed speech-language pathologists, and document all services accurately.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Oklahoma State Licensure, minimum of 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, LTC or rehab experience, ability to supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists, and the ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical standards. New graduates with Level II experience are also eligible.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and familiarity with regulatory and clinical documentation standards.
- Additional Information: The position involves participating in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and required trainings. Effective communication with team members and compliance with professional ethics and practice acts are essential.
