Job Summary:
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) position. This role involves evaluating, rehabilitating, and providing therapy to patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in an inpatient setting. The position emphasizes adherence to clinical standards and collaborative patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week

  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include CCC certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, Oklahoma State License. Education requirements include a degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active ASHA membership. Minimum of one year of experience in speech-language pathology, specifically in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation settings.

  • Able to effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing issues.

  • Experience with standardized assessments, evidence-based practice, and documentation in electronic health record systems.

  • Ability to supervise and support student or CFY Speech-Language Pathologists.

  • Compliance with ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.

  • New graduates with Level II experience are welcome to apply.

  • Preferred Qualifications: None listed

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.

  • Additional Information: The position involves participation in meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings. Candidates must be able to obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies. Active licensure and adherence to regulatory and clinical standards are required.
