Job Summary:
This is a Speech Language Pathologist position specializing in inpatient care, located in Kerrville, Texas. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders within a healthcare facility setting. The position focuses on developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that adhere to regulatory and clinical practice standards, utilizing evidence-based methods to support patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), State Licensure in Texas, CCC certified Speech-Language Pathologist, with at least 1 year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience including long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience holding active Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) status.
• Additional Information: Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders; develops and adjusts personalized care plans; communicates progress with the healthcare team; maintains detailed clinical documentation; participates in required meetings, trainings, and conferences; and supports supervision of junior staff or students. Adherence to American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state practice acts, ethics, and official licensure requirements is mandatory.
