Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available in Harrisonville, Missouri. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position requires utilizing evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions and contributing to patient recovery in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure for the Physical Therapist Assistant position, at least 1 year of PTA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation, and current PTA license. Education and experience requirements include a valid PTA license and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in LTC or rehab settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: No float rotation required.
• Additional Information: The role includes duties such as providing rehabilitative interventions, assessing patient progress, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, documenting all interventions accurately, participating in patient care and team meetings, and supporting supervised students. Candidates must be able to work with supervising Physical Therapists to obtain supplies or DME as necessary, and adhere to professional practice acts, including state licensure requirements.
