Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time position in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented healthcare professional committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Job Details:
- Location: Lake Geneva, WI
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program; Education verification required; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(N); BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PET imaging and radiopharmaceutical preparation.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment and associated devices effectively
- Position patients and equipment for optimal imaging results
- Conduct venipuncture, start and maintain venous access, and administer radioactive isotopes according to protocols
- Evaluate image quality and data accuracy
- Document safety incidents and adverse events as per protocol
- Manipulate digital data for display, ensuring proper identification
- Utilize radiology information systems including PACS to complete records and reports
- Document all pertinent information in electronic medical records, including medication reconciliation
- Provide discharge instructions to patients and assist with PET services as needed
- Follow facility protocols for radiopharmaceutical order and processing
