Description
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves providing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services to inpatients and outpatients under departmental protocols. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing diverse MRI procedures, including studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), valid New Mexico state license as a general radiographer, at least 2 years of professional experience, BLS certification, and MRT certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: It is preferred but not required that the candidate is a graduate of an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school, registered with ARRT, and maintains a current MRI Registry through ARRT.
- Additional Information: No floating requirements. The position requires call coverage after hours and on weekends, approximately one day per week and one weekend per month. This is an auto-offer position with no interviews, and the role involves working with the Medhost EMR system. Scrubs are not required.
