Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position located in Austin, Texas. This contract role involves providing radiology imaging services in a busy medical imaging department with high patient acuity. The technician will work rotating shifts, including weekends, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on trauma and stroke cases.

Job Details:

• Certifications/Education Requirements: ARRT, TMB, BLS, RDMS, NMTCB; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; 2 years of experience preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/13/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess ARRT certification, Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure, BLS certification, and have at least 2 years of experience working in radiology, trauma, or stroke settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in the specific modality applied for (e.g., NMTCB, MRI, CT) is preferred; experience with high-acuity, fast-paced environments is advantageous.
• Responsibilities include performing X-ray procedures, supporting an environment with critical patients, and working collaboratively within a team to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Dress Code: Scrubs are required; scrub top must be olive color, black pants are mandatory.
• The unit has over 100 imaging staff with a mix of day and night shifts, including lead technologists, with a focus on trauma and stroke patient care.
