Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Mound City, Missouri. This role involves providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position focuses on supporting patient recovery through evidence-based practices, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Details:

• Location: Mound City, Missouri
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active State Licensure/Registration; a minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience; Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience; COTA license.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, use of supportive and assistive devices, assessing patient progress, and communicating with the supervising Occupational Therapist. Supervision of students may be required. Participation in meetings, training, and adherence to professional practice acts and ethics are essential. The candidate must be able to support supply procurement and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
