Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) position in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric and adult patients in a critical care setting, with the flexibility to rotate between acute and long-term care facilities. The clinician will be supporting patients with complex respiratory needs, utilizing advanced ventilator management and airway procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). State license in New York required, in-hand for submission. One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care, charting experience in EPIC, and prior work in adult critical care or emergency departments.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must be comfortable with airway management devices and suctioning, ventilator troubleshooting, and assisting with extubation and intubation procedures. Floating to different units may be required. Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Credentialing and Compliance: Must have a valid NY license in hand. Candidates should not have more than 10 days of RTO in the system. Modules related to specialty topics may be billable for up to 5 hours, recorded via facility report, and completed pre-start.
• Submittal Requirements: No foreign education verification needed unless specified. Ensure NY licensure is active.
