Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a night shift position in Houston, Texas. This role involves performing radiologic procedures in a busy hospital setting within a 420-bed facility. The technologist will be responsible for capturing diagnostic images in various departments, including emergency, operating room, and outpatient services, utilizing fixed and portable imaging equipment.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Nights, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification, valid Texas Medical Board (TMB) license, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, available to work in Houston, Texas
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in emergency department, operating room, or trauma settings; proficiency with XR/OR procedures is advantageous
Unit Information: The radiology department covers emergency, outpatient, operating room, and inpatient services within a 420-bed facility.
Patient Ratios: 1:1 for patients requiring radiologic procedures
Equipment: Fixed and portable imaging devices
EMR System: Meditech Expanse
Personality Fit: Teamwork mindset is essential for collaboration within the department
Additional Notes: This position involves rotational responsibilities including weekends and on-call duties, with a dress code of forest green scrub attire.
