Job Summary:
The position of Registered Dietitian is based in Porterville, California. This clinical role involves working closely with the healthcare team to provide medical nutrition therapy and patient education. The Dietitian assesses patients nutritional needs, recommends interventions, and documents progress while collaborating with the Nutrition Services department to ensure appropriate diet plans are implemented. The role serves a diverse patient population across all age groups, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Dietitian certification, BLS certification, 1+ year experience in an acute care setting, and location within a 50-mile radius (relocation restrictions apply).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system and CBORD system; Spanish bilingual proficiency.
• Additional Information: The candidate must not have previously worked permanently at the facility and should submit as a travel candidate. The role includes training and supervising dietetic interns and providing nutritional education to patients and their families.
