Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) specializing in Pediatric care is sought for a healthcare organization located in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services on night shifts at a busy hospital with a capacity of over 850 beds. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-acuity environment within a renowned facility committed to patient safety and excellence.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: North Carolina Respiratory License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The Respiratory Services department is equipped with GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, and other high-flow oxygen devices. The unit consists of both adult and pediatric patient populations, with varying patient ratios and equipment.
