Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) - Peds Specialty - Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services within a comprehensive hospital setting, supporting adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient care in a high-acuity environment. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: North Carolina Respiratory License; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; 4 years of experience; location in Asheville, North Carolina
- Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification; experience in critical care and pediatric respiratory procedures
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all critical care units and floors
- Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, utilizing GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices. The candidate should demonstrate a professional demeanor, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
