Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist located in San Francisco, California. The role involves providing technical support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in performing interventional cardiac procedures. The technologist will execute procedures following established protocols, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards under the supervision of a cardiologist.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, starting at 0700, with rotating nights and weekend call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (American Heart Association), RCES, CRT or RCIS accepted; a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory with structural heart experience preferred; valid California State License; current Nursys licensure uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accurate monitoring, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations in adult and pediatric patients, and familiarity with fluoroscopy and various interventional procedures.
• Additional Information: The role may involve mentoring and training students, following strict infection control guidelines, and providing excellent patient care during complex cardiac procedures. Onboarding includes completing labs within 35 days of contract signing, with all compliance documents due 10 days prior to the start date.
