Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Fountain Valley, California. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient imaging and diagnostic services within a community-focused facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California State License in-hand when applying; all required certifications in-hand upon application, including ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT N*), BLS, and NMTCBSkills. Zero years of experience required, but candidates should have foundational knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Certifications: All required certifications must be current and in-hand when applying.
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Experience with Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures, including 3 Phase, Adenosine infusion, Bone, Brain, Cerebral Blood Flow, Liver, Liver Imaging, Liver Scan-Hemangioma, Muga Scan, Nuclear Cardiology, Perfusion, Persantine Infusion, Pharmacological Stress, Portable/Bedside Procedures, Renal, Renal/Perfusion, Sestamibi parathyroid scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body scans, and related procedures.
  • EPIC experience must be documented in the work history.
  • References: Two supervisor references required when applying.
  • RTO Policy: No RTO within the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract, and all RTO must be documented at submittal.
  • Additional Requirements: CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute must be in-hand when applying. MAB or online CPI Blue certifications are not accepted. If applying as a float pool nurse, a CPI Blue Card is also required.
  • Orientation: Modules are billable, with an average of 4-8 hours spent on modules, completed during orientation or at home post-start. Module hours vary by specialty and are self-reported.
