Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in Rancho Mirage, California. This role involves implementing treatment plans, selecting modalities to meet established goals, and facilitating patient rehabilitation within an inpatient acute care setting. The position requires providing effective therapy treatments, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring interdisciplinary communication to maximize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or higher level degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Licensed by the PT Board of the State of California; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 0 or more years of experience in physical therapy, preferably inpatient acute setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree or Doctorate degree in PT; Inpatient acute physical therapy experience; healthcare experience
- Additional Information: Implements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet specific established goals. Provides prescribed physical therapy treatment to facilitate rehabilitation. Assists in patient evaluation, discharge planning, and maintains appropriate records. Demonstrates compliance with all relevant policies and standards and participates in departmental programs. Communicates effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff; maintains equipment and treatment areas; mentors student interns as assigned.
