Description

Job Summary:
Gainesville, Florida The organization is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a university-affiliated healthcare facility. The position involves performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with clinical staff to complete all ordered exams. The role supports the organizations commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic services and requires flexibility to float across multiple MRI locations within the facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified as ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, BLS certification, at least 2 years of clinical MRI experience in a hospital setting with critically ill patients, Siemens MRI experience with XA and B platforms including Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola, with no employment gaps exceeding 180 days without explanation, and flexibility to float to all MRI locations within Gainesville campus
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Siemens MRI units including XA and B platforms, hospital setting experience with critically ill patients
  • Additional Information: The position requires performing diagnostic MRI procedures and working in a dynamic environment. Candidates must adhere to the vaccination policy, including exemption procedures if applicable. Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) processing may take up to 14 business days. No permeable shoes are allowed.
  • Submission Requirements: Facility type, EMR system used, bed count, and at least one reference dated within the past 12 months
