Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Houston, Texas. This position for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist involves supporting a high-volume cardiology unit with a typical census of 120 patients. The role requires collaboration within a team to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will assist with various procedures, including electrophysiology, structural heart, and coronary interventions, in a facility that utilizes GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment and an electronic medical record system.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); candidates with Cath lab experience and a preference for those with experience in electrophysiology, structural heart procedures, and coronary interventions.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting the cath lab pre- and post-procedure activities, with responsibilities including assisting with electrophysiology and structural heart procedures. Call rotation with existing staff is required on weekends and evenings. The dress code is scrubs in royal blue.
